Marilyn Gordon is a certified hypnotherapist, teacher, speaker, healer, school director, and author with over twenty five years of experience both teaching and healing in such areas as language arts, meditation, yoga, and hypnotherapy. She is currently the founder and director of the Center for Hypnotherapy Certification, a California state-licensed hypnotherapy school.

A Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan, she has also been recognized in Who's Who,...in the US,...in California,...in the West,...in Asia and the Pacific Nations, ...in Executives and Professionals, International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs; Dictionary of International Biography, and Outstanding People of the Twentieth Century.

She has been given the Hypnosis Achievement Award for 1997 by the National Guild of Hypnotists, as well as the Charles Tebbets Award in 1999. She writes a regular column for the National Guild's "Journal of Hypnotism." She has given hundreds of workshops, retreats, trainings and seminars over the years and has regularly appeared on radio and television. Her area of specialization is in deep inner healing of the mind, emotions and spirit.

She also works with and teaches the new leading-edge energy therapies. She does her best to bring compassion, inspiration and love to all she does. Her purpose is to work with love to amplify the good and talents in others, to help them heal mind and body and empower their lives.
