Important School Policies

The Following are Required by the Council for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education for this State-Licensed Institution
 

Attendance and Punctuality

  • Students are responsible for attending six sessions for each level. Special arrangments are needed to make up classes. Students are expected to be on time, as meditations begin each class, and excessive lateness is disturbing to the rest of the students.

Dropout and Leave-of-Absence Policies.

  • In the event that a student must drop out of the training, a refund will be given. Tuition is prorated upon course withdrawal. A refund will also be given for leave-of-absence unless a student wishes to take up the course at another time, in which case full credit for the amount paid will be given. See Cancellation Policies below.

Cancellation and Refund Policies and Rights

  • Students have the right to cancel at any time and to receive a refund for the part of the course not taken. Enrollment Agreement and Notice of Cancellation forms, available upon request, explain refund policies in detail.

Grading, Student Assessment, Conduct

  • Students must do satisfactory work to be able to receive a certificate. Students are also expected to behave considerately to all class members and to the instructor. Quality of work is determined by assignments, class participation, ability to perform hypnotherapy skillfully, attendance and performanace on exams. All student records are maintained at the Center.

Description of Student Rights under The Student Tuition Recovery Fund

  • Students are protected from losing money from postsecondary schools by a special fund (STRF) from which they can be reimbursed by filing a special form with the Council for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, 1027-10th St, Fourth Floor, Sacramento CA 95614-3517, (916) 445-3427.

Student Complaint Procedure

  • Student complaints will be resolved with the student and the school director orally or in writing. Complaints will be assessed with all due fairness to determine their validity and to see if outside parties, such as the Council, must be involved in their solution.

Admission Requirements

  • The minimum level of education required is completion of high school or high school equivalency. Students will be assessed to determine if this is the right path for them.

    Students will be asked to do some home study, to practice, and to complete individual projects.

Language Requirements

  • Classes are given in English only.
